Apartment Review for Beau Chene - Baton Rouge, LA

I thought moving into Beau Chene was great at first! The noise was minimal excluding the trains that come through at all hours of the night across the street that blare their horns. The safety was okay excluding the fact that in the first year that I lived here I heard about multiple armed robberies and was never notified by the owner. He did finally hold a meeting and two officers moved in which seemed to help. The apartments are pretty big and are in a great location! But we had problems with our wiring and when we mentioned any problems to the office it took at least a month for them to get to anything. On the other hand, if you are a male, move right on in! There are rumors that the owner is gay. Any guy I know who lives here gets anything they need at a moments notice. For example, we complained that our door wasn't closing properly around the same time as a male friend in the complex. Within three days his door was fixed. THREE MONTHS LATER when someone came to fix it, they casually mentioned the damage was because someone tried to kick our door down. As I am writing this review, I am sitting in my unit that has been without water since 9am. It is now 4:49 and I was told the water would be turned on by 4. This isn't the first time this has happened. If you're willing to put up with many inconveniences and pains, then come on over!
