Apartment Review
Pros and Cons

Place is mostly good, but be pet owners be careful. 300$ deposit for my small dog and it says in the fine print that they get "professional de-oderizers" after all pets which they took 135$ out of my deposit which is on top of the 50$ carpet cleaning they charge everone upon moving in. Maintenence was timely and the staff held packages at the front. 2 of the 3 pools were great/clean and noise wasn't an issue. Parking is fine except on weekend nights where it was hard to find a spot at times. Cell phone reception was horrible and electricity through Amp (now Sub-Meter One) was outrageous for a small one bed-room with brick walls (which means better insulation). They grounds were always kept very clean and you can expect the grass to be cut on a weekly basis during the summer. Only because I was personally jipped out of money for "deodorizing" do I give this place a 2. We were very good tenants and only moved out because we needed to save money; 135$ when they are already carpet cleaning and which should remove any smell in the first place on top of a pet deposit is pretty steep. It didn't even smell when we left! Good tenants deserve better; I suppose profit is profit for Wampold Companies. If you're not a pet owner its a great place, otherwise expect to be paying about 435$ at minimum without just cause. |
