Apartment Review for Cobblestone - Baton Rouge, LA

My experience in the Cobblestone originally was good. After almost one year of living here, I am desprate to find a new place to live. Unfortunately, throughout the year we have noticed the that renters are changing. We now have a "neighborhood watch group" which you will see in different areas throughout the complex, usually everyday, and well into the evening hours. This makes me suspicious and therefore feel unsafe. (I even thought I witnessed an exchange but not being familiar with that sort of thing, I can only guess that is what took place.) I am unsure as to what goes on in the complex, but ususally the police are around at least twice a month- but this could be because the complex is large... I'm not to sure. Not to mention that approximately two months ago, my car window was broken out while I was parked in front of my own unit. The icing on the cake is that my car was actually unlocked! Boy was I was upset. As for incects, there is regularly schedualed sprays, and I don't notice many in my place. Nothing unusual anyway. Overall the unit itself is nice, parking is good, but feeling unsafe has made me start actively looking for someplace else. I can't wait to move...soon!
