Apartment Review for Highland Plantation - Baton Rouge, LA

Highland plantation was the first apt for me and my roomate from day one there was trouble. Upon moving in the carpet was never changed are cleaned and the bathroom still had things in it from previous people who lived there and on top of that the carpet was molded and coming up in the bathroom.They never changed it and we told them on more than one occation.After Gastav hit we were put out for damages that were already there and not paying rent that mon. because of missing work which other apartments worked with you but not them. After going to court and a agreement was made on the amount that would be paid I contact them 2 mon. later and found out they had doubled the fees they charged 1,888 for carpet that was never cleaned are changed.The staff is rude I have to stay on top of them everytime I make a payment because they are always giving a different price.Point is they are money hungry and lazy and don't care about the apt are the appearance as long as the rent is PAID, and if it is not you are out of there and still have to deal with their mess. I feel like there is nothing good about the apartments an if you are looking to move there don't you'll regret it until the least is up are they put you out. P.S The good news is they took the carpet fee off after I did a dispute and that was only because I wrote it down on that list they give you.
