Apartment Review for Highland Plantation - Baton Rouge, LA

This place is AWFUL. We had to sign 4 leases to even move in and one time on our move in day, we showed up with everything ready to go and they told us that the apartment wouldn't be ready for another 2 weeks. I woke up after one week to a ceiling fan blade flying across my bedroom and then a week after that, someone from upstairs busted our front window and took everything my roommate and I owned. Even with an open shattered window, you cannot hear the alarm system from outside the apartment. There is NO security. They will not do a thing for you. It takes days to get major problems fixed. They try to lure you in with waved fees but that's the only way anyone will live there. You are asking for trouble if you move here. We had legal actions taken to get out of that hell hole. Do not do it. We were upfront, on Highland road, on the corner. The safest place you can be. Well lit. That does nothing. Don't do it.
