ROBBED from management
Review Date: 4/9/2010 Reviewer: Anonymous
If I can give negative, I would. I have dealt with them so many time because of contract issues. They prey on young people and foreign student who do not read the contract or couldn't read it. If you want to move out, you have to notify the management 6 months before end of your lease. According to contract, they will automatically renew your lease for another year even if you are 1 day late from telling them. They will shove the contract down your throat. If you break the contract, you are responsible to pay all rent till the end of the new lease. Who in the world will know where they are going to move to 6 month before end of their lease. And if you are one day late from notify the management, it is either pay $7740 or continue to live there. They will tell you if someone (you have to be very lucky), to choose your unit to live in (fat chance) then you pay till the day they move in. Why would they let someone take over your lease if they can rent out another unit to the new person? Contract is like 8 pages, front and back. I have never seen a rental contract this long. I have never seen a rental contract that states you are responsible to fulfill every last bit of the lease. Usually it is 1 month before or loose your deposit. Once you sign contract with them, you are stuck with them. |
