Apartment Review
THE GHETTO -Reminds me of Good Times with the Eva
Review Date: 11/30/2006
Reviewer: Anonymous

I have been living here for quite some time, and I would have to agree with the other persons that have chose to write a review. I am in the process of purchasing a home and needed some where to live in the interim. I am a single parent with a daughter (middle school) and this is no place to live with a young female. The THUGS are every where and have no respect for their elders. There is no playground so kids play in the middle of the court yard and when they are playing it is not uncommon for your car to be hit with a basketball or football or even a baseball. when reported to the office nothing is ever done. It's ridiculous! Since the new owners took over they have increased the rent. It seems as if they are trying to profit from others misfortune. To add insult to injury they insist that you pay an additional $50 fee for a short term lease which by the way is anything less than a year. Who would want to stay in those conditions for a year. The apartments are falling apart. You would think that they would take some of the money they are making to remodel the place but they haven't. My upstairs bathroom leaks water to the bottom floor and my master baths door is always coming off the hinges. It's supposedly been fixed. The garbage disposal doesn't work and the water doesn't stay hot enough for you to take a decent shower. The Ac is always freezing up so make sure you keep it at a constant temp. even if it means freezing or being too hot. Help me send the new owners a message - "You can't take advantage of people " They are acting as if they are loan sharks. If you don't stay for a year then you need to pay us more money. I can't wait to see the day when there are no tenants at this complex. If you are going to have a gated community at least make sure that the gates actually work. The gates are always broken - its really a disgrace adn dis service to the few hardworking people that live here. Parking is another issue - it is not adequate parking for the tenants. There are no designated visitor parking areas. I pay almost $700 dollars and can't find a parking space when I come home after a hard days work but the visitors next door that pay nothing can hog up all the spaces. Something really needs to be done. I am too embarassed to invite friends over to may house because of the conddition of the complex. I got sick one day and my voss had to bring me home - I was so embarrassed! Hopefully I will be moving soon, but in the meanwhile I am renewing my 6 mos lease which I have been told that there has been another rental increase. By the time they finish I will be able to move in Mansions in the Park based on the rental increases. I am believing GOD for a home after this renewal. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!
