Apartment Review for Live Oaks - Baton Rouge, LA

I will take an oath that I have no professional affiliation with Like Oaks. This critique is not an anonymous note written by the manager or a member of her staff. In fact, I am a current resident who has lived in a 3-bedroom, 2-bath unit since February 2006.

At the time, I was relocating to Baton Rouge to open a new branch office for my employer. I knew no one and available apartments were as scarce as a snowball in ... well, you get the idea. I am pleased to report that the only available property I found turned out to probably be one of the best in the city.

The office staff is attentive, responsive and friendly. They go out of their way to be helpful. Maintenance is prompt and can be relied upon to get things right the first time. Upkeep is unbelievable. My apartment was sparkling clean when I arrived with the moving van. Essentials like kitchen garbage bags, basic cleaning supplies, paper towels, sample-size laundry detergent, hand soap, etc. were supplied by property management. It truly felt like I was stepping into a large suite in a 4-star hotel.

The entire complex has just received a fresh coat of exterior paint and the landscaping always looks manicured. Parking simply is not a problem and it is so quiet at night you can hear the proverbial feather drop. Management takes security seriously and keeps the community safe, in part, through their very comprehensive background check on all prospective tenants.

In summary, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet community with all the extras, look no further. Live Oaks will satisfy the requirements of even the most exacting tenant.
