Apartment Review for Place Du Plantier Apartments - Baton Rouge, LA

Place Du Plantier has the worst management I have ever seen working at an apartment complex, maybe it’s because each month there is a new manger that knows a little less than the one before. The tenants are usually loud and obnoxious with little or no consideration for others and the management staff seems to like it like that because complaints never get answered or remedied. I actually got into a physical altercation with a neighbor because once they finally decided to do something about my complaints they told them that I was the one complaining. The people that work there are just plain stupid and are out for one thing, MONEY!! Do not expect to get a deposit back either because they will come up with some random crap to keep money and never bother to talk to you about why they are keeping your money. I have visited the office several times to discuss my deposit but the manager refuses to see me every time. The apartments are also usually in horrible condition when you move in but are expected to be in exceptional condition when you move out. I lived in several different apartments in PDP and each one was worse than the last. Some of the apartments are not even move in ready when you move into them but they will charge you when you move out for every day that they cannot rent out the apartment because of repairs that should have been made before you moved in. This place is absolutely horrible and tries to rip off college students. DO NOT LIVE HERE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!
