Apartment Review for Place Du Plantier Apartments - Baton Rouge, LA

I'm very surprised to see the negative comments about PDP. I've only been living here for a few months, but I've never had any problems. Since living here, I've had to put in two work orders. Both of my work orders were taken care of within 24 hrs., and the management even followed up with me to make sure that everything was taken care of properly. The apartments may be a little more expensive than most; however, considering the location (near LSU, banks, grocery store, Wal-Mart, etc.), I'd say they are fair. Parking can get congested in certain areas which can be a problem after going to the grocery. I gave PDP a low safety rating only because the apartment staff often leave notes/monthly updates on your door which means if you're out of town everyone knows because those notes will sit on your door until you return. In every other aspect, I believe PDP is well worth it. The management and staff are easy to contact and very friendly. I've already recommended the complex to several friends.
