Apartment Review for Teakwood Village Apartments - Baton Rouge, LA

My two daughers just finished three years here at Teakwood , and they and I could not be more satisfied. The reason I wanted to address other moms here is that I would not have known how wonderful this place is if I had relied on the immature posts you find on this site. The tone sounds like that of a 10-year-old who s been justifiably disciplined and wants to get revenge. It s a shame this site doesn t serve the purpose it s intended to and can be so misleading. If you want to know the truth, just visit the site and talk to the tenants. I got to know many of my daughters neighbors and I heard only good things said about the property and management. Rita has been the resident manager here since 1989 and was like a second mom to my girls. Her husband and two brothers have been the full-time maintenance crew here for twenty years. Every maintenance issue my girls had was taken care of the day it was reported. The property is gated and I always felt that my girls were safe and secure with both Rita and her husband and the assistant manager living on site. But don t take mine or anybody s word--come and find out for yourself. I will always have fond memories of Teakwood and the time my daughters spent there.
