Apartment Review for The Park At Bluebonnet - Baton Rouge, LA

The first six months living here were fine. The review above mine make this complex out ot be terrible, and it's not. There is a problem with parking, it's very hard to find a spot sometimes. Maintenace is good, they've come out at night to fix an AC problem for me.

But what brought the whole situtation down is the new 1 Rent Check policy, and the reasons behind it. For the first 6 months my roommates and I were allowed to submit seperate checks totaling the amount of rent, which we always did, on time. Now we are told the we can only submit 1 rent check. The first reason given to me by the staff was that it's hard on them to process 3 checks. (I understand that, but I thought we were paying for a service.) I then spoke to the Asst. Manager, who was very friendly, but again stated that we could only pay with 1 check. This time the reason given is that that's the policy, and they don't want to have to track down rent checks. (I explained to her that our rent was never late, and we never had to be tracked down.) I then spoke to the Apt. Manager. (The coversation was similar to the one I had with the Assistant Manager.)

I then spoke to the Business Manger of the Cambell Company, who owns the Apt. She was not as plesent to speak to. She stated the same reasons that Park staff did. But, also told me that I was lucky to have been able to pay with 3 checks for the first 6 months. (To me this implys that she feels like I'm luck to be living there.)

Whatever happened to customer service?

For these reasons, I can't recommed the Park to any one.
