Apartment Review for The Venue At Northgate - Baton Rouge, LA

The Venue may seem to be this very fine apartment complex with lots of ammenities, but in all actuality it is far worse than many of the complexes that I have seen that are much cheaper. The apartments are extrememly small and without so much as a balcony or deck! The parking garage may seem like a great addition...but it is built so small and narrow that every time you drive in or out there is nearly an accident; and because there is the garage...you must walk a long way, sometimes up or down a flight or stairs just to get to your vehicle (bringing home groceries is a nightmare). Furthermore, the LSU band practice field is right across the street from the complex and every afternoon between 3:30 and 5:00 studying, naps, or television is interrupted and drowned out by an hour and a half of rediculously loud drums and trumpets. Having company over is such a hassel because non-residents cannot park in the parking garage. They must park in the parking lot next door and walk nearly a block to get to the apartment building. What kind of place makes it difficult to have company?? DO NOT WASTE THE MONEY BY PAYING TO LIVE AT THE VENUE!!! IT IS HORRIBLE!!!!
