Apartment Review for The Venue At Northgate - Baton Rouge, LA

I am the MOM and this is my review. The looks are great when you first come to the complex but when you get inside you notice the workmanship. This complex was built CHEAP. The trim throughout the entire apt is cheap the bathroom tub surround is cheap and the cabinets are cheap. I have a son here and for $600 plus I would think we would have had a lot more. My son is in the band and the band field is a convience for him as is being close to campus. That is about all I think we got from living here. I do not think the price for this complex is worth it, at least not to me. I think the size was fine,except the shape of the bedrooms, the closets were large and great. There was no access out the sliding glass door. What was that? Gates across the opening so they could not get out, even on the ground floor! The hallways are cement and not finished so they were always bringing in dust on their feet. The carpet is light and shows all the dirt. This was close to campus but I would not come back for another year. I would not pay this money for this complex again.
