Apartment Review for The Warwick - Baton Rouge, LA

The rental staff are rude, inconsiderate, abrasive, and not honest. The property is old and falling apart. Major maintenance issues, particularly those that reflect neglect on the part of ownership, are not addressed. (Examples: It took one year of the 6 apartments in my building complaining about backed-up toilets to fix the badly backed-up sewer system. It took one year and three months of my calling with continuous maintenance requests, all documented, for them to change the compressor in my A/C so the temperature would go below 75 degrees.) There is no enforcement of residents picking up the wastes of their dogs. Children are allowed to ride bikes in the driveways, at the expense of delaying through-traffic and their own safety. The pool is over-chlorinated to the point of leaving residue on skin and smelling like chemicals several feet away. Many residents are very friendly, and are the only good thing about this complex. Not worth the very expensive cost for the square footage and 18-year old buildings that are not kept up.
