Apartment Review for University Gardens - Baton Rouge, LA

For $250/month what can you expect? But things have not been going great there. In the past year we've had alot of car breakins, there's alot of loitering at night, Old apartment manager seemed to use trickery to get us to sign up. Promises were not kept. Security lights have been burnt out probably 90% of our stay. New management seems to be turning the place around, but still needs ALOT of work. On site Maintenance worker very friendly and knows his stuff, but things that have to be called out for (plumbing, electricity etc) take FOREVER... At night when trying to sleep its either listen to the electrical plant buzzing at night or very very loud car stereos loitering in the parking lot. Not recommended... Glad we got out.
